Teens do stupid sh*t. Especially when there's a "challenge" involved. Today we are lucky enough to have the #FightTheAirChallenge. I'm honestly struggling to write about what that even means because it's just so f*cking dumb.
High school kids are pretending like they've been fighting with actual humans, only to reveal via Twitter videos that they're actually just throwing kicks and punches at f*cking air. Apparently, nobody gets hurt but these kids look like they've got some serious pent up stuff. Sometimes, the air hits back and the squad has to get involved in the brawl. Usually, they record said tussles with songs like "Whoop That Trick" and "Fight That Trick". This is an ACTUAL trend. JFC.

NASA Coast Governor abandons Raila after participating in today’s election

The coastal governor broke ranks with his colleagues in NASA and voted in the repeat presidential election.  Taita Taveta Governor Granton Samboja on Thursday became the only NASA elected leader who participated in the repeat presidential election. Samboja, who was elected on a Wiper Party ticket, surprised residents when he turned up at Mwakishimba Primary School in Wundanyi constituency. Samboja has in the past two months broken from the Wiper ranks by making statements in support of the ruling coalition. Earlier in the month, the former radio presenter, made an appearance at a Jubilee rally presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta where he also said he was willing to work with the government for the sake of development of his county. Incidentally, Samboja had in the past worked at the Kenyatta family owned company – Media Max. Ethiopian Airlines: Ground all Boeing 737 Max 8 jets, says CEO

The boss of Ethiopian Airlines has called for the grounding of all Boeing's 737 Max 8 aircraft until it is established they are safe to fly. Many countries have already suspended the plane after one the airline's jets crashed on Sunday minutes after take-off, killing all 157 people on board. Tewolde Gebremariam told the BBC that although the exact causes were still unknown, there were similarities to a Lion Air crash last October. But US officials say the jet is safe. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said a review had showed "no systemic performance issues" and that there was no basis for grounding the aircraft. 'Grounding is right thing to do' Sunday's Nairobi-bound plane was the same type as the Indonesian Lion Air jet that crashed in October, killing 189 passengers and crew, and Mr Gebremariam said there were other similarities. Irish cat torturer back in Ireland after fleeing New York Declan Garrity, 24, was spotted at his parents’ house in Tyrone despite a warrant in New York looking for his arrest.   A Northern Ireland man accused of animal abuse in New York , where he is facing arrest, is currently residing at his parents’ house back in Ireland. A bench warrant was issued for Declan Garrity, 24, from Omagh, Co. Tyrone, in April 2016 when he failed to appear in a Manhattan Supreme Court to face charges of animal cruelty. It was believed Garrity failed to appear in court because he returned to Ireland after receiving notification his visa had expired. Irish newspaper the Sunday Life have now confirmed the former Barclays banker has returned to Ireland, tracking Garrity down in Omagh last week.
